This is my fifth entry on my journey to learning Korean.
I got a tutor, I'm supposed to do an hour long session this Thursday evening (3 days from now). If all goes well, I'll continue to do more lessons. I'm honestly not even sure if tutors at this point will be worth it in terms of learning the language, since I don't know a lot at this point, but we will find out.
I'll write here more about my experience when I finish with the tutor. Maybe I'll continue with the same tutor, maybe I won't really click with them and I'll need to try out a few more to find the tutor that really fits well with how I like to learn.
I wasn't really happy with my last Korean entry. It ended on a kind of sad note. I am going to continue to learn Korean. It is hard, but I am going to do it. I've always wanted to learn a language. Why? Because it is cool, and awesome, and not a lot of people are willing to put in the time and effort to learn a new language, at least in the United States. I want to do it to prove that I can. I've always had trouble with learning languages in school. I always thought that I sucked at it. Maybe I do. But I'm still going to do it. Because the first step to being good at something, is sucking at it.
